Creag Leacach – Shear Laziness!

03 Aug

I’ve done a piece for Scottishhills.com on our little outing yesterday.  I can’t be bothered to transpose the whole thing onto the blog…so I’ve been incredibly lazy and provided a link. For the purists amongst you…tough 😉 !

A psychological “tail” of mind over matter, Excellent as always Ken.
It is amazing the way our brain works and is able to trick us back into doing things that we reasoned that we shouldn’t be doing again.
But I guess this is probably a good thing otherwise there would be so much stuff that woudln’t get a second (or maybe third) chance.

Thanks for that Paul. Never ceases to amaze me, the fact that I keep bouncing back irrespective of what should be the logical outcome.

It’s interesting walking on the “margin”. I’m finding that various conditions have to be met or I will struggle. I need dry, breezy weather with low relative humidity (preferably on the cool side). My head has to be in the right place – mentally (there have been questions about it being in the right place – physically – but I generally ignore those 😉 ), and as long as the hamstrings are reasonably well stretched then I should be able to get up the hill. Coming down is unfortunately in the lap of the gods (as that’s when the back kicks in)…but there’s always gravity 😆 !
