Pittenweem Dog Walk

30 Jan

A few photos from today’s dog walk on the Fife Coastal Path –  Pittenweem to St. Monans and back, some 4km.  We didn’t start until 3.30pm so we only had enough time for a quick stroll before dark.   Pittenweem’s quaint little harbour was quiet, almost to the point of being deserted.  We drove a couple of miles along to Anstruther, another quaint little harbour to pick up something to nibble.  By now dark was setting in.  The place was “heaving”!  There was a constant stream of cars in and out the harbour car park and people everywhere!  Why, you may ask?  Anstruther has one of the most famous fish ‘n chip shops in Scotland and that was where most people were heading. …so were we.  J stood in the queue for about half an hour for our Breaded Pittenweem Prawns and Special Haddock while I walked the Fatdog around the harbour.  Well worth the wait.

The map’s showing me a red x as well Annie. Thanks for letting me know, I’m off to check it out 😀

Drat! The file’s not in the Media Library so it’ll have to wait until I’m home later this evening to fix. Sorry about that Annie.
