Led on a Merrie Danse – The Stragglers’ “Tail”

30 Jul

The “Tail” of last Saturday’s wee trip up Carn Mor Dearg, over the Arete and up Ben Nevis can be found on Resurrection 283 and at ScottishHills.com .  I think the Shills one looks better 😦  😆 .

I’ve still got ringing in my ears from that trip 😆 . I believe it’s customary to wear the headgear used for the final Munro throughout the Corbett round. At least then we’ll know where you are…a bit like the cowbell principle. 😀

As for the photo…you’re perfectly correct…it’s not a bad shot of “The Ben” is it? 😀

Amazing how much better the weather was than forecast to start off with… not once we were on the arete though! 🙄

It was a very fetching hat Simon, honest 😆

No wind on the arete though Tessa…or at least none that I noticed.
That would have made life a bit more…interesting 😆 .
