The Wester Ross Scribbles (continued)
I’m not really sure what happened, but I never completed the story of our April 2010 trip to Wester Ross. There’s been a change of computer since then so I’ve now absolutely no idea where my files on that trip are hiding (other than the photos that is), so I’ll have to be a bit creative on the writing front. Accordingly the normal exaggerations will become outright fabrications.
Our journeys around Scotland’s north-west coast have always been popular on the blog, so I thought it would be good to round off the trip with a series of 4 mini-posts. There was a blue sky trip to Knockan Cliff and Ardvreck Castle, a wander around the community woodland at Laide, a visit to the WW2 gun emplacements and Russian Convoy Memorial overlooking Loch Ewe and a memorable wander over the headland/island Eilean a Chaoil at the entrance to Upper Loch Torridon.
These will all appear as separate pages under the Dim and Distant tab on the menu bar under the heading Wester Ross Scribbles.
